Krists Saržants’ debut album “THEN AND NOW” is a compilation album of 11 re-orchestrated original compositions and arrangements, composed and arranged over the years. The album was recorded over series of recording sessions in 2019 by Dāvis Švēde-Grīnbergs at Sound Division Studios in Riga, Latvia with Krists Saržants (piano), Evilena Protektore (voice), Dāvis Jurka (saxophone), Andris Grunte (double bass), Matias Fischer-Mogensen (drums), soloists Ieva Kerēvica (voice), Laura Grecka (voice) and Mārcis Auziņš (guitar) and with HORN SECTION – Laura Rozenberga (trombone), Kristaps Lubovs (baritone saxophone & bass clarinet) and Oskars Ozoliņš (trumpet & flugelhorn), STRING SECTION – Katrīna Rosuščana (violin), Amanda Rupeika (viola), Sarma Gabrēna (cello), Alise Broka (double bass) and Mārcis Lipskis (double bass) and PERCUSSION section with Elīna Endzele. The album was mixed by Ivars Ozols and mastered by Edgars Skrāģis.
